Therapy in person and on line across California
People come to therapy not because they are “broken,” but because they are human.
We all carry experiences—some joyful, some painful—that shape how we see ourselves, how we relate to others, and how we move through the world. Sometimes those experiences leave us feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who we are.
Therapy offers a space to slow down and listen to what’s really going on inside. It’s where we begin to untangle old patterns, heal from past wounds, and learn new ways of thinking, feeling, and connecting.
People come to therapy for so many reasons:
Sometimes people come simply because they want to grow—into the healthiest, most connected version of themselves.
At its heart, therapy is not about “what’s wrong with you”—it’s about what happened to you, and how you’ve survived it. And it’s about building something new, with guidance, support, and care.
I welcome people from all walks of life and value the cultural background you bring into therapy. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel empowered to discover more about yourself. Together, we’ll work on moving past anxieties, fears, and limiting beliefs that may be getting in the way of the life you want.
In our sessions, you’ll learn how to connect with your true self, build on your strengths, and practice simple but powerful tools to handle life’s challenges with more confidence and resilience.
Hello, I’m Sarah Omid, a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Beverly Hills since 1991. For over three decades, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families through life’s most meaningful—and often most challenging—transitions.
My work centers around relationships, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and major life changes such as divorce, the birth of a child, or the passing of a loved one. I also support parents in building healthy, connected relationships with their children and raising emotionally resilient, successful kids.
I have a special passion for working with couples and young adults as they navigate identity, connection, and emotional growth.
“I help couples rebuild trust, deepen connection, and learn to truly hear each other.”
“I help young adults navigate life’s transitions with clarity, confidence, and self-trust.”
“This is a space to explore who you are—and who you’re becoming.”
I believe that understanding our family of origin is essential to understanding ourselves—why we behave the way we do, how we form relationships, and what may be holding us back.
